The porn booths attracted a very shady crowd, but since the porn brought in more money than the toys, management didn't seem to care. What ended up happening is that men passing through the store to the booths would stop the ogle any female customers who happened to be shopping for toys. The last time I was there, this one man stood very close to me the entire time I was shopping and stared. Yes, it was just as creepy as it sounds. I always felt like I needed a shower after every visit, but since it was the only game in town and online retail hadn't yet taken off, I didn't have any other options.

This is my longwinded way of saying "thank you" for providing a safe, comfortable space where people can go to buy intimate items without feeling dirty, judged, or shamed. I'm so glad that sex positive stores and online retail are available now so that women no longer have to go through what I did just to buy an adult product.

Re: Why I said no to reality TV

You were my first and only sex shop (6 years now!) and I recommend you to all my friends. (Dad would have the occasional queer jokes at the dinner table.) To set a time line , me and Bill Clinton , I'm scarin' 70. Anal adventures were birth control but some girls seem to really get off on it. I 'm told I'm the hero type , never admitting to anything gross or creepy. I could never suggest anal for fear of the nastiness of it all, that and low self esteem. So in my curosity I was introduced to the prostate exam/blowjob. I suppose like jumping defensive, the 'Who ' liked anal more was sometimes a bone of contention. But I could never bring it up as a lovemaking activity and my partners always seemed to love all that 'turnabout-fairplay'.

Re: Some Anal Thoughts on the NSSHB

HI, I do not know what happened to your post, sorry.
